    Hello,
I am currently enrolled at WGU and I am taking their IT Foundations course. I have taken the practice exam 5 times on CompTIA practice and 1 time on the CompTIA Learn website. I have spent over 12 hours on practice problems and I know I have enough understanding to be reliable in a work setting, though I don't have the workplace experience. I was told by my professors that it is recommended that you get a 90 on the practice tests before you take the exam, however my term ends at the end of march and my course ends on the 14th of march. Passing the cert is a requirement to pass and proceed with my degree. My score average is 85percent, which is listed as "almost ready" by CompTIA's own website. I have taken core 2 already, and I am well aware of their love for "Gotcha Questions," unfortunately they put them in the practice exam too. I spend more than 8 hours a day on this stuff.

When I finally got a 90 on the practice exam for core 2 I'm pretty sure it was just by God's grace, or luck take your pick because I was doing that one on my phone

Any help or encouragement would be greatly appreciated.

Also as a side note I find it exceedingly frustrating that CompTIA doesn't post their formula for calculating the final score because I would like to know where I actually stand. It turns out that they are so cagey about their proprietary formula that they don't even use it on their own self-made practice exams :bat:

Hey McBride, firstly well done on your studies, it sounds like you're doing great. I've not sat this exam but if I was consistently getting above 75%, I'd go for it. You don't need to pass it perfectly just pass it. Best of luck
